American Idiot

American Idiot

Green Day's powerhouse album is brought to life in this electric-rock musical of youthful disillusion.

The two-time TONY Award-winning hit musical American Idiot, based on Green Day's GRAMMY Award-winning multi-platinum album, boldly takes the American musical where it's never gone before. This high-octane show includes every song from Green Day's album American Idiot, as well as several songs from follow-up release, 21st Century Breakdown.

Johnny, Tunny and Will struggle to find meaning in a post-9/11 world. When the three disgruntled men flee the constraints of their hometown for the thrills of city life, their paths are quickly estranged when Tunny enters the armed forces, Michael is called back home to attend familial responsibilities, and Johnny's attention becomes divided by a seductive love interest and a hazardous new friendship. An energy-fueled rock opera, American Idiot, features little dialogue and instead relies on the lyrics from Green Day's groundbreaking album to execute the story line.

American Idiot is a high concept show with strong social messages and endless creative possibilities. It will surely add an enticing edge to any theatre's season.

James and the Giant Peach TYA

Roald Dahl's fantastical tale of a boy, his insect friends, and their amazing journey across the ocean on a giant peach of fruit. (ADAPTED TO ONE ACT)

Roald Dahl's James And The Giant Peach is now a Theatre for Young Audiences musical for the whole family to enjoy! When James is sent by his conniving aunts to chop down their old fruit tree, he discovers a magic potion which results in a tremendous peach - and launches a journey of enormous proportions. Suddenly, James finds himself in the center of the gigantic peach among human-sized insects with equally oversized personalities, but after it falls from the tree and rolls into the ocean, the group faces hunger, sharks and plenty of disagreements. Thanks to James' quick wit and creative thinking, the residents learn to live and work together as a family. The dangerous voyage is a success, but the adventure takes a whole new twist once they land on the Empire State Building.

A delightfully offbeat adaptation of the classic Roald Dahl adventure, the creative possibilities with James And The Giant Peach are endless. Actors will love playing the oulandish characters and performing brand new material from one of Broadway's hottest duos.

The Scottsboro Boys

The Scottsboro Boys

Jump on board for this sensational true story of nine young men in a case that changed history.

The thrilling, final collaboration by musical theatre greats John Kander and Fred Ebb (The World Goes 'Round), The Scottsboro Boys was hailed as one of the most visionary pieces to grace the Broadway stage. Nominated for a staggering 12 Tony Awards, The Scottsboro Boys will have you tapping your toes and hollering for justice as the tables are turned on one of the most infamous events in American history: nine African American men accused of a crime they did not commit.

In the prejudicial south of the 1930's, 9 African-American men were ripped from a train and accused of rape by two white women. Hauled to jail without a shred of actual evidence against them, The Scottsboro Boys were rushed through trial procedures, found guilty, and sentenced to death. What occurred in the years following the trials was a harrowing tale of bravery and strength in the face of great adversity.

The Scottsboro Boys is haunting and inspiring when presented in an intimate setting, but also has an inexplicable ability to touch an audience member seated in the back of the theatre as well as it does those just beyond the footlights. With its brilliant stew of performance styles and piercing new songs, it is truly a triumph of the American Musical Theatre.
