Dan has been heavily involved in Musical Theatre from a young age in both the pit and on stage. As a trombonist and keyboardist he has played for over 60 shows including, West Side Story, Little Shop of Horrors, Calamity Jane, Parade, Thoroughly Modern Millie, The Producers, Evita, Annie, Return To The Forbidden Planet, The Phantom of the Opera and Les Miserables to name but a few. He has also played with many of the country’s top orchestras including the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and Sinfonia Verdi. Dan works regularly in music preparation and has written orchestrations and arrangements for some of the UK’s leading cabaret acts including his own 13 piece show band, Theme Machine.
After graduating from Trinity College of Music in 2012 with a BMus Honours degree, Dan went on to travel the world playing trombone aboard P&O cruise ships before returning to the UK in late 2013. He then spent 6 months working in the Sheet Music Department at Yamaha Music London (formerly Chappell of Bond Street) before joining Josef Weinberger in 2014. He is very passionate about lots of the scores in the MTI catalogue and particularly enjoys helping customers with orchestration queries and offering advice when required.
In his spare time, Dan loves to cook and regularly uses his colleagues as guinea pigs for new cakes and biscuits…. Some have gone down better than others!
