Shauna White

Concert Library

Originally from Northern Ireland, Shauna moved to London in 1998 to study French horn at Trinity College of Music.  Whilst a student there she began working part-time at Josef Weinberger, and has never left!   She is now in charge of the Concert Library, supplying materials to performing groups ranging from the London Symphony Orchestra to small rural primary schools.

A former principal horn of both the Ulster Youth Orchestra and the National Youth Orchestra of Ireland, Shauna has played horn or keyboards for several amateur musical productions, including Guys & Dolls, Chess, Carousel, Oliver, Annie Get Your Gun, Pirates of Penzance, Billy and (an undoubted highlight) The Adventures Of Tom Sawyer.  She has also had a lot of experience accompanying choirs and instrumentalists in exams, concerts and music festivals.

Shauna has two young daughters so spare time is now a rarity, but she very much enjoys playing the horn in the London International Orchestra and is also a church organist.   She is a keen football and rugby fan, constantly trying to persuade/convince/brainwash her children that Manchester United are better than Daddy’s beloved Fulham (actually, there’s no disputing that!) and that Ireland are vastly superior to England!
