Addams Family the Musical

This large-scale, modular The Addams Family set is designed to provide directors with exceptional flexibility while capturing the gothic grandeur of the Addams mansion.

The centerpiece of the design is a versatile upstage housing unit featuring interchangeable archways, walls, and doors that can be arranged in multiple configurations to create a variety of interior and exterior settings. Towering second-story wall units, standing over 15 feet tall, add impressive height and architectural detail to the production.

The set includes six large rolling wagons: two mirrored three-doorway wagons, two mirrored grand stair wagons, and two smaller stair units. The second-story railings are hinged, allowing the stair units to be repositioned and connected from multiple locations on the upper level. This gives directors a wide range of staging possibilities and allows the scenery to be reconfigured throughout the production to create fresh visual compositions.

In addition to the primary scenic units, the rental includes a number of signature specialty pieces, including Pugsley's bed with animated tentacles, crypt, gates, several tree unit options, a flying moon unit, torture rack, torture chair and a fully taxidermied bear named Bernard, adding the whimsical and macabre touches audiences expect from the Addams Family.

Despite its scale, the scenery has been engineered for efficiency. The complete set can typically be loaded in and installed in a single day with minimal technical support.
