54 BELOW TO HOST MARTIN CHARNIN and JASON ROBERT BROWN

54 Below, Broadway's premiere Supper Club is hosting two legendary MTI authors in November.  Martin Charnin (ANNIE) and Jason Robert Brown (LAST 5 YEARS, PARADE, SONGS FOR A NEW WORLD, 13) will share their unique talents at  multiple performances in the popular Times Square venue.

54 Below presents a dazzling new musical revue, conceived & directed by one of Broadway’s most esteemed talents ANNIE's Martin Charnin. In the grand tradition of the entertainments once produced by Leonard Sillman, Ben Bagley and Julius Monk, Something Funny’s Going On utilizes the writing talents of Charnin, Ronny Graham, Marvin Hamlisch, Douglas Bernstein, Dennis Markell, Abbott and Weeks, Weeden, Finkle and Fay, Kaufman and Krane and many others. Performed by four young, bright, stars-to-be, this is 75 minutes of new and evergreen sophisticated musical hilarity, sure to be a major Fall happening.  The performance is November 17 at 9:30pm.

Tony winner Jason Robert Brown returns to 54 Below after last year’s sold-out engagement! Expect tunes both new and old, hilarious and poignant, caustic and inspiring from his diverse & prolific catalogue, featuring his band, The Caucasian Rhythm Kings, and cast members from Honeymoon In Vegas (premiering this fall at Paper Mill Playhouse), The Bridges of Madison County (opening on Broadway in February) and the winners of the online JRB Karaoke Competition!  Performances are November 18-23.
