The 69th annual TONY Awards was a star-studded affair, which as usual featured first-rate performances from some of the finest actors in the business. But what made this year's award show different was the shattering of the glass ceiling by two outstanding female artists - Jeanine Tesori and Lisa Kron. The duo made history by becoming the first female writing team (Tesori wrote the music and Kron wrote the book and lyrics) to win a Best Score TONY for their musical based on the Alison Bechdel graphic novel, "Fun Home".
