MTI is working diligently to make sure we can respond to your questions and inquiries in light of the Coronavirus. Our first priority is the safety of our customers and their organizations as well as our staff and partners.

We have gathered some information that we hope will help clarify our policies and inform your decisions moving forward. Please check back here for updates:

Free Resources & Helpful Announcements

Broadway Junior® Age Restrictions Lifted!
Typically, only performers 18 years of age and younger can participate in a Broadway Junior musical, but starting NOW, actors of any age are permitted to join the cast of your Broadway Junior show! Learn more here.

Free E-Perusals and Audio Perusals
We at MTI understand that many theatres, schools, and organizations are continuing to navigate these tumultuous times. We are here for you. For a limited time and as a small token of our appreciation, we are offering all of our E-perusals and digital Broadway Junior Audio Perusals FOR FREE for Primary MyMTI Contacts. Once logged in to your MyMTI account, simply click “Apply for a Perusal” under APPLICATIONS, follow the steps, include up to 5 additional emails to send the free e-perusal to, and your order will be free of charge.

Please note: We ask that you please order through MyMTI, as the licensing representatives are working very hard to attend to every customer's needs during this time. Ordering e-perusals on MyMTI are for organizations in the US and Canada.

No Security Deposit Necessary to Announce and Sell Tickets to Your Full-Length Show
It is now possible for MTI to accept a contract for a full-length title without you having to pay your security deposit. What does this change mean for you? This change now allows you to announce your upcoming full-length show and start selling tickets before you receive your materials. You will still need to pay your balance in full before we are able to release your materials, but now you can get an early start on the marketing and promotion of your MTI musical without a financial commitment. This offer is valid starting now and will be in effect for performances taking place through August 31, 2021. (Not available for Junior, KIDS or Online Editions)

Production Cancellations and Postponements

There are two (2) different options in which you can request MTI to approve a postponement (either with new dates or without new dates) or cancellation of your production. These options are logging into your MyMTI account (the quickest and most efficient option), or email. You only need to complete one (1) of these options.  

Option 1 (preferred): Log in to Your MyMTI Account
Please log in to your MyMTI account where you will find a Change Booking form on each of your active bookings. This form allows you to request a postponement with new specific dates, a postponement without new dates as well as an option to cancel.

Option 2: Email
TO POSTPONE YOUR PRODUCTION: Please send an email with your updated dates to your Licensing Representative or to license@mtishows.com. In most cases, we can waive any additional rental time. While we cannot anticipate every circumstance, we do not expect that any such rescheduling requests will be denied unless a proposed "new" performance date cannot be allowed due to a pre-existing restriction.
TO CANCEL YOUR PRODUCTION: Please send an email informing us of your need to cancel due to the circumstances. Rented materials should be returned as soon as you are able to and all cancellation fees will be waived (aside from any shipping costs if you have already received your rehearsal materials).

Please note: You only need to complete one (1) of the options above. Our licensing representatives are working hard to address every request. If you've provided new dates they will be reflected in the Booking Details of your booking in your MyMTI Account upon approval. Please allow up to 10-14 business days for approvals and changes to take effect in MyMTI.

Rental material returns:
As of May 20, 2020, our materials library is open and able to receive rental material returns. Please return your rented MTI materials to our library at your earliest convenience.

Please note: Broadway Junior ShowKits need not be returned, they are yours to keep. We are unable to provide return labels for your rental materials and ask that you please keep your tracking information until you've received receipt of delivery.

Shipments for upcoming productions:
We are pleased to inform you that the executive order closing our library has been lifted, and we are able to serve you fully again. If you are able to receive deliveries please contact your representative to confirm shipments for your normal rental period.

User-Generated Content / Fan Videos

We at MTI always appreciate the incredibly entertaining and uplifting videos witnessed online and on social media.

While we encourage you to continue sharing your gifts and talents, we ask that you please read these User Generated Content Guidelines for some great suggestions on getting the most out of your Fan Video. Please tag #NoOneIsAloneChallenge and @mtishows.
