This year's Thespian Festival in Lincoln, Nebraska features more than fifty productions presented by schools from throughout North America and abroad. A select few have been chosen as Main Stage presentations at the Festival. The select group includes five shows from the Music Theatre International catalog: URINETOWN, PIPPIN, DIRTY ROTTEN SCOUNDRELS, HOW TO SUCCEED IN BUSINESS WITHOUT REALLY TRYING, and WORKING. These shows will be presented by five different high schools at the festival, which will take place June 21 - 26 at the University of Nebraska in Lincoln.

The Festival, organized by the Educational Theatre Association's International Thespian Society, offers a full schedule of workshops presented by theatre professionals, individual performance events, a student playwriting program, opportunities to audition for college and university representatives and for Thespian scholarships, and a chance to hang out with 2,000 or so other Thespians!
