Mitch Stark

Mitch is the Founding Creative Director at Theatre Avenue (theatreave.com) He designs digital projections for theatre and ballet companies internationally, for productions such as Willy Wonka, Swan Lake, Nutcracker, The Wizard of Oz, Annie, Lion King, and beyond. Mitch travels the country teaching projection design workshops, produces media content, and writes for theatre and dance magazines and blogs. He also produces online theatre classes for directors, theatre teachers and students. As an art director and designer, Mitch created nationwide corporate and non-profit campaigns including print, web, illustration, and motion graphics for NBC News, Global Down Syndrome Foundation, Habitat for Humanity, and Deep Rock Water. He worked for 16 years with over 100 clients as a graphic designer, illustrator, interactive and motion designer. Mitch earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree at Ball State University, where he studied art, design, and computer animation.
