BONES
Well, well, well, what have we got here?
PINKY
I believe those be children, Cap’n.
BONES
I know they’re children! But why are they here? This island is supposed to be deserted.
JACK
Uh, yeah, we were just leaving.
BONES
Oh, no ye don’t!
ANNIE
Let him go!
JACK
Annie, stay where you are!
(BONES drags JACK away from the ladder. ANNIE climbs down the ladder.)
STINKY
Looks like a couple of shipwrecked orphans built themselves a house in the trees!
BLINKY
Ain’t that sweet.
ANNIE
Leave him alone, bully!
(ANNIE tries to kick BONES in the shins.)
SLINKY
Bully? His name ain’t Bully.
(BONES grabs ANNIE.)
BLINKY
It’s Bones. Cap’n Bones to you.

BILLY
Welcome back, Cap’n.
MOLLY
Aye, we missed ye.
(PIRATES go back to work.)
BONES
Ahoy! Throw down the ladder. Hoist them lubbers aboard!
BLINKY
Look what we brought ye, mates.
SLINKY
Two privateers from Frog Creek, soon to be shark food if they don’t cough up the Cap’n’s treasure!
BONES
Jonah!!! Where be me cabin boy? Jonah!
(JONAH rushes on.)
JONAH
Aye, Cap’n?
BONES
Take ’em below! And neither gruel nor grog til the little mice decide to squeal!
