A Charles Dickens Christmas is a fictional account, inspired by the 1843 novella, A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens, as well as the actual writer himself and just how his world-famous work came into being.

Productions

A Charles Dickens Christmas premiered at the Promenade Theater in New York City on December 3, 1988, and ran through Christmas, until December 31, 1988, as part of TheatreWorks USA's season that year.
