She was honored at the 2001 Chicago Humanities Festival.
Her ballad, LIES OF HANDSOME MEN is recorded by Cleo Laine, Margaret Whiting, Blossom Dearie, Donna McKechnie and many others. It formed the romantic climax of the film THE AWAKENING .
