Sybille Pearson - is the librettist of the musical Baby, for which she received a Tony nomination. She is the author of the plays Sally and Marsha, Phantasie, Watching the Dog, and Unfinished Stories, which was selected for publication in American Theatre Magazine. She won the Berrilla Kerr Award for Playwriting in 1994, has been a recipient of a Rockefeller Playwrights Fellowship, a participant at the O'Neill Playwrights Conference, the Sundance Playwrights Conference and is a founding member of The Playwrights Circle at The New York Theatre Workshop. She is also a co-founder of a new group for women writers called Sitting in a Room," under the auspices of the Classic Stage Company. She is a member of the Dramatists Guild. She is currently working on a musical entitled Magic (with Mel Marvin and Sarah Schlesinger) and True History and Real Adventure, a play commisioned by the Mark Taper Forum in Los Angeles. She is a Core Faculty Bookwriter for the Musical Theatre Program at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts."
