Candace Andrews is the Artistic Director for the Prosser (WA)-based Valley Theater Company, a 501(c)(3) that was formed in 1961. She has been involved on and off stage with VTC for more than 35 years and has served VTC in nearly every capacity, including three terms as board president. Her involvement has included 24 musicals and 17 straight plays as an actor, choreographer, director, producer, props coordinator, costume coordinator, set dresser, printed materials coordinator, publicity coordinator, set construction crew and set painter, and stage crew. Candace led VTC’s capital campaign to purchase the historic Princess Theatre in downtown Prosser, which culminated in February 2013 with VTC purchasing the theatre and, for the first time in its history, owning its own performance space.
