How do we go about finding the price for a show kit? We have to nominate a show for our drama club but do not know if it is in our budget until we know the price.

Hi Christy, We're so glad you're considering performing one of our Broadway Jr/Broadway Kids titles at your school! They're a great way to introduce students to musical theatre without having to assemble a full orchestra (accompaniment tracks are provided) -- and with some added tips for directors and choreographers, thanks to the director's guide and choreographic DVD (included with all showkits). If your school is an accredited elementary or middle school, our show kits are sold for a flat rate. The cost for a Broadway Jr showkit (these titles run about an hour in length, or slightly longer) ranges in price from $550.00 to $595.00; this includes the royalties for the show and the materials to produce it. The shipping for these kits is $40.00 for standard ground shipping or $85.00 for rush shipping. For our Broadway Kids shows (which run about 30 minutes), a showkit costs $395.00-445.00; this also includes the royalties for the show and the necessary materials for producing the show. The shipping costs are the same: $40.00 for Ground shipping and $85.00 for rush. For all showkits, additional items can be purchased for an additional cost. For anyone else reading this post, it's important to keep in mind that organizations that are not accredited elementary or middle schools (or American Camp Association members, or parks and recreation groups) would not be able to purchase the showkit at a flat rate. There would be an additional per performance royalty cost to produce these shows. If you have any more specific questions, don't hesitate to reply here or to email me at richardp[at]mtishows.com.
