We took black pants and ran a gold stripe down the leg. Then took solid colored sport coats and turned up the collar and pinned the jackets at the neck. Added trim on what was now the backside of the collar along the edge. Final step was to buy the wide Christmas ribbon that is on sale right now and ran one piece around the waist and another piece over the shoulder diagonally (left to right) and pin it. (Kind of like a safety patrol belt- http://fredericksburg.com/News/FLS/2008/012008/01102008/347416 ) For the prince we used a white sailor uniform-like the center picture http://media.photobucket.com/image/formal%20sailor%20white%20uniform/marmer01/Military/USMC_white.jpg trimmed it out in gold and we were ready to go.
