BRIAN SEAGRAVES

Youth Theater Director
Brian has served as the Youth Theater Director for Centers for the Arts Bonita Springs in Florida since late December 2018. He has been doing theatre most of his life and is extremely proud of having been named a Freddie G Fellow at the Junior Theater Festival in 2014. Brian has been honored to serve as an adjudicator for multiple showcase groups, as well as the Alabama Youth Theatre Extravaganza in 2016, and served as an adjudicator for the Georgia High School Musical Theatre Awards (Shuler Awards) for the 2016-2017 and the 2017-2018 school years. Past work experience in the Arts includes two and a half years as the Arts Division Administrator for Athens-Clarke County in Georgia, managing the various arts programs offered by the county. Prior to joining Athens-Clarke County, Brian spent eight years as the Arts Director for the Garden City Recreation Commission in Garden City, Kansas, running all the arts program including an extensive Youth & Community Theatre program, where Brian was able to take a group to JTF for four years. He has also held positions as an Adjunct Humanities Instructor with Ozark Technical Community College and Operations Director with Stained Glass Theatre, both based in Springfield, Missouri. Brian is a graduate of Southwest Baptist University with a double-major Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre and Recreation.
