My theatre group is looking for show suggestions. One of the problems we are running into is that this group has been around for 30 years and they don't want to repeat shows. They've performed all of the traditional shows. The other challenge is the age of the performers. The amjority are mid 20's to early 30's but we have a good selection of 40-50 yr olds as awell. Moe women then men AND we really want to include children in the show. Any suggestions?

Sure. THOROUGHLY MODERN MILLIE, WILLY WONKA, AIDA and WEDDING SINGER might also work.

One additional note, we do not have any members of color so that also limits our selections. We have folks who can dance so that is not a big issue.

Hello. There are a few MTI titles that I can think of that might accommodate most of what you have indicated your group needs. You may want to look at the following: GREENWILLOW THE BAKERS WIFE SEVEN BRIDES FOR SEVEN BROTHERS CHITTY CHITTY BANG BANG BY THE BEAUTIFUL SEA 13 DAUGHTERS THE BOYFRIEND THE DROWSY CHAPERONE REDHEAD PIPPIN UNSINKABLE MOLLY BROWN THE PAJAMA GAME A FUNNY THING HAPPENED ON THE WAY TO THE FORUM LES PETITS RATS ARCHY & MEHITABEL MY FAVORITE YEAR NEW GIRL IN TOWN MOBY DICK! THE MUSICAL ONCE ON THIS ISLAND MUSIC MAN PAJAMA GAME CHILDREN OF EDEN There are sound clips and casting breakdowns on the show pages for these titles. Hopefully at least one of these suggestions is of interest to you. Good luck!
