I was wondering if this article had any truth to it. http://www.playbill.com/news/article/186640-Disney-Will-Release-Adaptati... Also, if it is true that Lion King Jr. will be released, will it only be released to schools? I am the director of the Amarillo Little Theatre Academy and have had great success with many shows you offer such as "Children of Eden", "Little Mermaid Jr.", and "Shrek". The Lion King Jr. would be a great show for us to tackle next. Also if this is true, when will applications be offered? Thank you for any help you may be able to offer!

A good question that many are curious about for sure David. There are no plans for a full show, right now schools are the only lucky ones.

Forgive me if this is the wrong place to ask, but we are interested in doing the full show, not a Jr. version. Is there any plans to release that?

Will Lion King Experience only be available to the teachers that attend the conference in January 2015? WIll there be a way to get on a list or purchase materials as well, or do the people at the conference get first dibs. I have done 12 Disney Jr. shows and will probably retire in two years. I would love to end with a show like The Lion King Jr. Barbara Picsopo

Great way to end a career Barbara! It will be available to all schools for licensing mid January 2015.

Good stuff....so "licensable by school groups throughout 2015"...does that mean the show could only be performed in 2015? I'm new at the formalities of such things.

Great question David! The license will be valid for one calendar year from date issued like all of our JR and Kids shows.

There hasn't been an official decision on when THE LION KING EXPERIENCE will be available to non-school groups, but the initial rollout will be at JTF 2015 and will only be licensable by school groups throughout 2015.
