HI - Could you offer some guidance on the concept behind the pushmi pullyu dance suggested in the choreography video? The show calls for an animal with 2 heads and one body. The dance on the video has 2 people dancing as a couple, separating completely as well as turning in place. What kind of costume is envisioned to make this work for this character? There is no commentary on the video that might shed light on this as there are with the other 2 numbers.

Hi Karen! This is a challenge, and the answer is "which comes first, the chicken or the egg". In other words, which will work best for YOUR production, a literal costume connecting the llamas, or more choreography with a suggested costume connection. The choreography on the dvd is definitely the latter, to if you have movers, possibly design the costume with one actor in front of the other to suggest one body and 2 heads. Director's preference for sure, but making sure your actors can move safely is most important.
