We are casting horton at our school and we wanted to know when you cast horton what do you look for in the way they sing act look?

I would prioritize their vocals, making sure they have the range and can sing the solos without boring the audience. Acting-wise, what made my Horton's believable was their sincerity toward Jojo and animation when searching through clover and being on trial . Physically, as long as they can carry themselves for the audience to believe he could be an elephant. Hope that helps a little.
