I direct a new school musical theater program--grades 4-8. We would like to start acquiring our own wireless headset mics, since they cost as much to rent as to buy. Any advice on what I should buy?

My name is William Mentz. I own Covington Studios and we are a full service Sound Lighting and Scenery Company. Depending on your budget I have some great solutions for you. Especially working with kids. You might not want something as fragile and expensive as the Countryman headsets. Contact me 570.468.0209

I would reccomend purchasing the Shure ULX-S wireless recievers and transmitters: http://www.shure.com/americas/products/wireless-systems/ulx-systems/inde... As for the mic to plug in, I would purchase the countryman B3: http://countryman.com/store/product.asp?id=4&catid=4 I use these professionally with a majority of Community Theater company's. They will run you around $550 per tranmitter/reciever set and $160 per mic for each set.
