Magic to Do: Innovative New Production of PIPPIN Enchants LA
Stephen Schwartz’s Tony Award-winning musical, PIPPIN just got a magical makeover for a wildly theatrical and original musical event. This new production of PIPPIN features deaf, hard-of-hearing and hearing actors using voice and American Sign Language to enhance the music, dance, and joyous storytelling.
The show takes place at Los Angeles’s New Mark Taper Forum from January 15 – March 15th and is directed by Jeff Calhoun in conjunction with the Deaf West Theatre. For ticket information or to learn more about this innovative take on a classic show, please visit the Center Theatre Group at http://www.centertheatregroup.org/tickets/productiondetail.aspx?id=7702.
And if your group is interested in licensing the rights to perform PIPPIN, take a look at MTI’s official PIPPIN show page here.
