Eric Savage (EJ) is the owner of Savage Theatrics and an actor and technician based in Wakefield, MA. He has recently performed in productions such as The Brothers Grim Spectacularathon, Smarty Pants (METG Gold Medal!), and Legally Blonde Jr. He was also a part of Frozen Jr, where he got to bring the amazing Sven puppet to life! EJ was nominated for his role as Sven in the METG Musical Theater Awards for Best Actor in a Featured Role and won! He also loves to sing and is currently a part of WMHS's A Cappella group, Mic Drop.
Outside of the theater, E.J. is a student at Wakefield Memorial High School and the President of the Class of 2029! He also volunteers as an usher at the Greater Boston Stage Company. In addition to that, you can find him around the district as JiJi the ST Math penguin!
When E.J. isn't performing, he's backstage, where he’s done almost every technical role from prop and tech crew to set design and construction! He has just finished stage managing his first production and is currently the Props Master for Galvin Middle School's production of Bye Bye Birdie! He especially enjoys working on kids' productions at The Children's Playhouse of Wakefield, where he teaches kids about the world of theater! He also tries to see every show he can!
Currently, you can catch him in Chicago as Fread Casley at WMHS Theater Arts and performing with the WMHS Winter Guard! E.J. loves being part of the theater and looks forward to sharing stories in the most entertaining ways possible!
