How to obtain permission.

I am co-directing a show at Jersey Village High School for a class assignment. The show is for one night, in front of 100 audience members, free of charge. The show must be under one hour and will take place in the high school’s blackbox. We would love to do Mamma Mia, but we would need to cut out a few songs and scenes because the goal is to make it under an hour. Our Director has sent an email about a week ago asking, but she has not heard back yet. Would it be possible to obtain permission to do Mamma Mia?

Orchestration

Does this show come with orchestration for a pit? Or does it only come with the keyboard/conductor score? Is there somewhere we can find orchestration for this if it isn't supplied by you?

West Side Story School Edition

I am wondering if any of the differences in the school edition might affect the orchestration/difficulty of the score, versus the regular edition.

Can you speak to the score being any less difficult for high school students in the school edition?

Thank you.
