Are shows in the TYA collection restricted on the ages of cast members?
I know that JR collection shows have to have cast members under a certain age. Is the same true for the TYA collections or can I cast older students/adults in those shows?
Can I just buy the soundtrack?
For the Spookley the Square Pumpkin: The Musical, is it possible to only purchase the music soundtrack for the play? I am not looking to buy the lisence for the production. I am just looking for a way to buy the soundtrack for my children since they love the music. Sorry if this an odd request.
We're considering Hairspray JR. Most of the students participating in theatre are Latino or Asian (we have very few students who are white or black that participate in the program). Are there suggestions for how to diversify the script?
