HOW DO WE FIND OUT ABOUT SHOWS UNDER CONTRACT IN OUR AREA SO WE DON'T CHOOSE THOSE PLAYS?
Unfortunately, that’s not info we’re able to provide. In more normal times, our website list most upcoming productions, however with so much in flux due to the pandemic, we’ve removed it for the time being. Even then, as many groups opt to not have their production listed there (schools waiting to announce to the students, for instance), we encourage organizations to keep open lines of communication within their area, as much as possible, to be aware of other organizations’ plans. If they apply for a license in their account, it will allow us to look into the availability of the rights, to see if there is a profession production that would cause a restriction, however there’s not a way to see other nearby amateur productions.
