From flashy dance sequences to a group wedding, Norcostco has the costumes for this delightful throwback to 1920s Broadway spectaculars.
The Man in Chair starts to play his favorite Broadway album, and the show comes to life around him. A Broadway star’s wedding brings together guests including Mrs. Tottendale, Underling, George, Kitty, and Feldzieg in their Fancy Dress. The Drowsy Chaperone tries to keep Janet away from Robert, but is distracted by Aldolpho. The show ends with four weddings: Janet and Robert, Mrs. Tottendale and Underling, Aldolpho and Drowsy, and Feldzieg and Kitty, with George as best man for all and Trix the Aviatrix as the officiant.
