Theatergoers want to see musicals, NEA study reports.
A new study from the National Endowment for the Arts that finds that the US audience for Musical Theatre has grown from 32 Million ticket buyers in 1992 to 37 Million last year, even as ticket sales for non-musicals have dropped significantly.
