Introducing The Camp Broadway Collection

The Broadway Education Alliance Inc. (BEA) and MTI announce the official release of The Camp Broadway Collection, an experiential learning program designed for summer camps and after-school programs. This unique enrichment program teaches children the fundamentals of musical theatre, character development, and essential life skills they need to be successful on and off the stage. The inaugural collection features five camp editions of the beloved musicals Annie , Guys and Dolls, How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying , Shrek the Musical, and Seussical.

Developed under the creative leadership of BEA's Artistic Director Theo Lencicki, each age-appropriate edition engages campers through storytelling, music, theater crafts, and movement. This turn-key package provides camp directors with professionally designed production assets to deliver a high-quality theater program that culminates in an author-approved 30-minute showcase including scripts, music tracks, customizable rehearsal schedules, class session plans, instructional videos, staging charts, costume inspiration, scenic designs that can be painted or projected, and other supplemental materials.

Camp Broadway® is an award-winning enrichment program that specializes in experiential programming, performance events and educational publishing. Introduced as part of Camp Broadway's 30 th anniversary celebration, the collection also helps address a programming gap within the camp sector which traditionally focuses on outdoor activities and sports.

The Camp Broadway camp editions featured in the collection have been piloted at several camps across the country including by Worthington City Schools Summer Camp (Columbus, Ohio), Meriden YMCA (Meriden, CT) and Burlington Recreation Department Summer Program, (Burlington, MA).

DEAN Adventure Camps is amongst the first experiential camps to incorporate this program into their summer offering.
