According to Playbill.com's Kenneth Jones, Goodspeed Musicals will be hosting a new project for the upcoming months of October and November. JAMES AND THE GIANT PEACH, a Roald Dahl classic, takes to the Norma Terris Theatre stage this Fall to be developed in front of audiences and its creative team.

The team includes three MTI Authors: Tim McDonald (libretto), Justin Paul (music), and Benj Pasek (lyrics).

In this dark tale by Dahl, a boy finds himself exploring within the core of a giant peach where he meets human-sized insects. When the fruit becomes dislodged from its tree, an exciting and dangerous adventure begins! Pilobolus, the renowned modern dance troup, will create the choreography for this whimsical tale. Director Graciela Daniele, best known for her work in ONCE ON THIS ISLAND, will also help bring the characters and James' world to life on-stage.

JAMES AND THE GIANT PEACH is expected to premiere at the Norma Terris Oct. 21 - Nov. 14 in Chester, CT.
