"Magic To Do" Video Contest Begins Today!

Everyone knows that theatre requires a massive amount of hard work and preparation.  But if the cast and crew do their job right, the performance seems effortless - as though the actors pull their lines out of the air and the sets and props operate on their own, driven by the needs of the story.  There's something to be said about keeping the blood, sweat, and tears backstage.  But wouldn't it feel gratifying to share your pre-performance work?

Now you can show us what you do to make the magic happen!  Post a video that shows how you get ready for any kind of performance, presentation, or competition.  Do you spend hours in rehearsal?  Do vocal warm-ups before a show?  Or do you simply put on a pair of lucky socks?  If it works for you, share it with the rest of the MTI ShowSpace community!

The Stephen Schwartz/Roger O. Hirson musical PIPPIN exposes the artifice of theatre and uses it as part of the story, proving that even the mechanics of theatre can be highly theatrical. Winners of this latest MTI ShowSpace Contest will therefore receive a Stephen Schwartz Prize Pack!
Instructions:
Step One: Upload a video to MTI ShowSpace that shows you getting ready/rehearsing or preparing something theatrical.
