Meet the Freddie G. Broadway Experience Class of 2014

The Freddie G. Broadway Experience is a celebration of eight outstanding educators who are selected at the annual Junior Theater Festival in Atlanta for their exceptional contributions to their communities through the staging of Broadway Junior musicals.

Now in its fifth year, the "Experience" welcomes these eight teachers from across the nation to New York City for four days of master classes, professional development and fun on the Great White Way.

The teachers will attend special workshops led by Tony Award® nominated composer and musical arranger Jeanine Tesori, Tony Award® winning director and choreographer Warren Carlyle, four time Tony Award® nominated playwright Chad Beguelin, Tony Award® winning lighting designer Ken Billington and Broadway sound designer Matt Kraus.  The event is underwritten by Myrna and Freddie Gershon, MTI's Chairman and CEO.  In addition to the New York experience, each of the teachers’ organizations receive $5,000 from Freddie and Myrna to enhance their arts program.  Let's meet the Freddie G.
