The Secret Weapon in a Not-So-Great Depression by Freddie Gershon
The Secret Weapon in a Not-So-Great Depression by Freddie Gershon
By Jason Cocovinis on June 21, 2010
We're thrilled that MTI CEO Freddie Gershon is lending his "virtual" voice to the online chorus with insightful articles written for The Huffington Post. Last week, Freddie highlighted the impact of pop cultural icons such as Glee and Disney's HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL on the art of performance - especially singing, dancing and acting. Suddenly, it seems, that stuff is back in a BIG way.
But this week, Freddie shows that through a familiar little depression-era orphan, the vibrancy of musical theatre and live performance has never really left us. In fact, it's new modes of communicating and sharing that can bring us all a little closer to TOMORROW!
Read Freddie's latest Huffington Post article, "The Secret Weapon in a Not-S0-Great Depression".
