Kim Taylor Knight

Kim Taylor Knight (director/choreographer) is a teacher who has performed both here in Boston and in her native state, Iowa. A graduate of the University of Iowa in Dance with a minor in Theater, she is currently pursuing her Master of Dance and Theater Teaching Artistry through Wayne State University. Kim worked for the Nora Theater Company in Cambridge and was a storyteller for the city of Boston’s Story Mobile summer program. Her work as dancer / actor includes a summer theater program in Ames, Iowa and performing with the Robert Thomas Dance Center. In 2010 she was awarded the “Teachers As Artists” grant to study in New York for a summer. Kim’s daughter, Lydia is a principal violist at Berklee College of Music and her husband Tom is a Professor of Speech and Communication at Fisher College. She directed her first play in 6th grade.
