Writer, musician, recording artist, actor. New York credits include Oil City Symphony (Circle in the Square Downtown) co-author and original cast member with Mark Hardwick, Debra Monk and Mary Murfitt; and Radio Gals (John Houseman) co-authored with Mark Hardwick; Wilder (Playwrights Horizons) co-author and musician; Diamond Studs (Westside Arts); and Sam Shepard s A Lie of the Mind (Promenade); Oil City Symphony received a Drama Desk and an Outer Critics Circle Award; Radio Gals, LA Ovation Award. Co-arranged and musical directed the original off-Broadway production of Smoke on the Mountain at the Lambs Theatre. Solo records: Fishing For Amour (l984), Wagoner s Lad (l999), and Shining Down (2002). Mike was a member of the Red Clay Ramblers for many years, recording nine albums with them and touring both nationally and internationally. Currently resides in North Carolina.
