We are doing a non-profit, theatre outreach, production this spring that will travel to Title I schools free of charge. Are there any programs that would allow a discounted or waived performance rights fee for a production like this?
When we did SPAMALOT, the company that held the licenses for it offered some alternatives for some of the more racy material. Any chance MTI will do that for SOMETHING ROTTEN?
A query concerning a different form for one of your musicals.
When we license a show from MTI, does someone from the company come to see the show for any reason?

Hi Cindy!
We are working on a production of Music Man Kids and we are getting parent push-back from the first few lines of Shipoopi, which we assumed would've been changed in the Kids version of the script.
Specifically:
Well, a woman who'll kiss on the very first date
Is usually a hussy
And a woman who'll kiss on the second time out
Is anything but fussy
Do you have any suggestions? Is there an approved alternate set of lyrics we could use?
Or do you have a better explanation of the lyrics that we could explain to the kids and parent?
Thanks!
John Barthelmes :-)
