Are schools able to gender-blind cast for MATILDA? Example, could Bruce be played by a female or non-binary actor?

Hi! Absolutely! The gender of the character does not refer to the gender of the actor playing the role. As long as the words in the libretto and lyrics are not changed, this is fine. If you do wish to propose changes, please reach out to your MTI licensing representative.
