We are a community theatre contemplating the production of Tick, Tick...Boom!, by Jonathan Larson. Has anyone out there already produced it, or has seen it that might be able to tell me what the sets looked like in detail. The performance space we use is somewhat limited, not to mention after each weedend performance we would have to strike the set and put it back up after the sunday church services are through.(the church also uses the space) Please help! Thanks. Peter

I had two 4x8 platforms butted up to each other to make 16 x 4 raised about 3 feet with a 4x4 platform at the end. in front of them I had 2 other platforms ramping down going stage right to stage left. That was it. Other than chairs and props, easy and simple. and oh yes, the Piano was Down Stage Left out of the way. Under the ramp we had clear ceiling panels (like for drop ceiling lights) and had lights under the ramp and they would flash on and off in different colors during some songs. Not sure if this will work but images can be seen here. http://www.aikencommunityplayhouse.com/seasons/thumbnails.php?album=361&...
