For Madeline- could a higher key "Did I Mention" be made (asap)? It is not currently in a key singable by pre-pubescent voices- it's FAR too low. I've done several productions with FANTASTIC singers, and everyone playing Ben struggles- it's just too low!

Lizzie and Danny - are theatres required to use disabled actors?
As a small community theatre, I am concerned about proposing this show. Is there a restriction to cast disabled actors in these parts? Is there any guidance for portraying these characters with dignity and sincerity - how much do we need to lean into the blind and deaf aspects? Is there any way to take out the references to the disabilities completely? Thank you!

I am intending to put on a production of the show. However, I do not have access to live orchestration. Is there any method of getting instrumental tracks to accompany the show? I know there is a reference recording for purchase, but does that include the instrumentals?
