The MTI office will close at 3PM ET on Fridays in July and August.
A group of people are singing with their scores in hand. In front of them is a music stand with an iPad on it. We can see over the shoulder of the conductor on the left side.

RehearScore® (App)

Run rehearsals straight from your mobile device using a virtual accompanist that plays every note of your show’s score.

Sometimes, finding a rehearsal pianist who meets your budgeting and scheduling needs can be challenging. RehearScore® (App) is a complete digital rendition of the Piano-Conductor Score, sequenced by a top Broadway pianist, precisely the way the composer intended. Every musical number (including scene changes, dance music and underscoring) is recorded in its entirety so you can rehearse even if you don’t have a pianist.

What's New

  • Songs appear in a more expanded list of "cards" that you can scroll through
  • You can use the Play-through mode to play songs sequentially and transition seamlessly one into the other.
  • Your song view has two distinct tabs - Rehearse and Score:
    • Rehearse allows you to view, add and adjust specific elements of song playback, such as measure location, tempo, transposition, and specific adjustments to the Vocal, Accompaniment (Piano) or Drums tracks
    • Score allows customers the chance to see a more in-depth analysis of the song and make changes to it
  • You can reset to the default MTI version of a RehearScore in just a few clicks.
  • Your RehearScore will continue playing even if the phone goes to sleep, you toggle to a different app, or the phone is on silent.
  • The "Invite to app" process will now send one Access Code for the Show Owner to log into the app for the first time, and invite the respective Cast and Creative Team members with a simple touch of a button.

Features

  • Every cast member can have access to RehearScore®.
    • Simply download the app from the App Store to access your show!
  • Conduct dance or choral rehearsals.
    • With the ability to change the tempo and loop a dance break, you can run multiple rehearsals at once without the need of a separate pianist or recording.
  • Find the right key — transpositions are easy.
    • Transpose up and down in half-step increments.
  • Isolate, adjust the volume of, or mute any particular vocal line.
    • Because each singer’s part has been programmed into a separate track, it can be played back with or without accompaniment (or louder or softer, relative to the accompaniment).
  • Click and jump to any measure.
    • Measure numbers match each individual score.
  • Add cuts and vamps.
    • Edit the songs down to the specific cutting you need and set the vamps you’ll need in each song.
  • Save your changes.
    • After adjusting the songs, save your changes to distribute to your cast and crew.

Rehearsescore App

I have downloaded the rehearsescore app on my iphone 8 and get no sound when it plays.  I have tried deleting and reinstalling with no change.  How do I get sound?

Answer this Question

Rehearscore

I downloaded rehearscore to my iphone 7, got in with the username and password provided to me, but no sound is coming out.  I tried everything.  I've toggled on and off each instrument, I tried uninstalling and reinstalling it twice.  Nothing.  Any idea how to fix this?
